Biography
Ms. Sholley was born and raised in Middleburg, Pennsylvania, and currently lives with her husband and daughter in Lewisburg. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from George Mason University, majoring in Global Affairs with a minor in Business. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2013.
Law School and Early Success
In 2014, Ms. Sholley began attending evening classes at Widener University Commonwealth Law School while working as a Legal Assistant at Shollenberger Januzzi & Wolfe. While in law school, Ms. Sholley was a Research Assistant on the Harper James & Gray on Torts treatise. She also served as an Academic Success Fellow for Property and Civil Procedure courses.
She served as a staff member of the Widener Commonwealth Law Review during the 2016-2017 school year and served at the Symposium/Pennsylvania Law Editor of the Law Review during her last year of law school.
In 2017, she was a guest speaker at the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society’s Scientific Meeting and a panel of other law students and Hershey Medical Center medical students. The project was later selected to be presented at the Widener University High Impact Practices Fair 2018.
Awards and Experience
Ally graduated Cum Laude in May 2018 and received the Legal Research and Writing Award of the 2018 graduating class.
After Practicing in the Personal Injury field for approximately 1.5 years, Ms. Sholley went on to work for the Honorable Ryan M. Tira in the Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas for two years. Afterwards, Ms. Sholley returned to the practice of Personal Injury. Also, she serves as the Guardian ad Litem for the Union & Snyder Co. dependency matters. Ms. Sholley was selected as a 2024 and 2025 Super Lawyers Pennsylvania Rising Star. Additionally, she is a 2025 40 Under 40 award recipient published by The Daily Item, as well as a recipient of the 2025 Paving the Way award sponsored by the PA Education for Children & Youth Experiencing Homelessness Program, Center for Schools and Communities. Ms. Sholley also serves on numerous state and local roundtables and workgroups throughout the Commonwealth.
