It is the firm's policy to clearly explain its fee structure and fee arrangements at the initial client conference. In personal injury cases, the fees are contingent, meaning that if there is no recovery there is no fee. Costs necessary to pursue the case are advanced by the firm and reimbursed at the conclusion of the case from the client's share of the recovery. Initial consultations are free. In some cases, such as where children are injured, death cases in which a child is a beneficiary or the injury occurs while on the job, the fee percentages are set by law or approved by the Court. Our firm is well aware of the accepted fee levels and almost always charges a contingent fee at or below the rates the law or the Court deems appropriate.
