On May 24, 2004, Shollenberger & Januzzi, LLP, broke ground on a new building in Enola, Cumberland County. This one-story, 5,000 square foot building is conveniently located within minutes of downtown Harrisburg and is easily accessible from Route 81.
The firm will now have two conference rooms, an expanded reception area, more office space, along with improved kitchen and bath facilities.
The building is scheduled to be completed by mid-October 2004. We will continue to maintain our current offices in Elizabethville and Wilkes-Barre.
Did You Know…
…that recent statistics compiled by the Pennsylvania Medical Society show that the number of physicians practicing in Pennsylvania has actually increased in recent years.
…that recent decisions from Pennsylvania Appellate Courts are making it increasingly difficult for people seriously injured in car and motorcycle crashes to recover damages from policies covering vehicles they insure but were not occupying at the time of the crash.
…that in civil jury trials that are expected to last three days or longer jurors can now take notes during the trial.
…that the most expensive coverage on most car and motorcycle policies is the coverage on the vehicle (e.g. collision/comprehensive) as opposed to on the person (uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage). Look at your declaration page/continuation notice to see for yourself.
…that those who favor caps on damages because doctors are leaving the state want caps on all cases even those that have nothing to do with medical malpractice.
